The holiday home exchange is a form of accommodation that is growing in popularity because of the obvious benefits of cost savings. We will see a series of tips for successful home exchange.

- The initial phase for a house exchange passes for contacting potential guests via email or phone. Then, if there if both parts are interested, they can exchange photos or videos, and even a visit prior to the exchange itself.

- Before the exchange itself, made all your questions and doubts.

- Prepare a written document with all essential information such as names and addresses of interested parties in the exchange, exchange dates, items included (swimming pool, car, club sports, etc.) Additional responsibilities such as caring for an animal or small maintenance, contacts and copy of insurance policy. Send two copies of the agreement to another member of the exchange and ask that you return one signed. This written agreement means a firm commitment to proceed with the exchange.

- Give your guests your mobile phone number, email and phone numbers of a relative, friend or neighbor so that they can contact you at any time.

- If you wish you can keep all valuables in a locked room.

- Leave detailed instructions on caring for your pets and plants.

- If in addition to the house, going to swap the car, do not forget to leave a copy of insurance papers and other documentation.

- Leave a small amount of fresh foods (fruits, vegetables, bread …) and bottles of water or wine. It is a courtesy to your guests will appreciate that for sure.

- A neighbor, friend or relative can come to greet guests, check that all is well and answer your questions.
