Travel Germany: Stadtfest 2010: Exploring Gay Berlin

Today we decided to go and explore the Gay sector of Berlin, Nollendorfplatz. It was such an amazing coincidence that we did because June 12 and 13 is the annual Lesbian and Gay festival Stadtfest 2010. This was the 18th lesbian and gay festival Berlin has thrown, and it was an amazing time! Plan your trip around when the event is going on, it is so worth it. Be aware that Gay Pride week in Berlin begins the 18th of June, so if you are looking for a big gay trip these are the dates to focus on! This is part two of a set on Gay Berlin. Link to the first at the beginning of this video. This time I show you the festival, run into some crazy people, get picked up in a bar by a gay man (who procedes to drag me to the dance floor) a special treat for you (to laugh at me), and then we procede to explore the area long after the festial is over into the early morning. Travel Berlin Germany: Airlines And Hotels

Today we leave from Helsinki, Finland with a lay-over in Riga, Latvia to get to Berlin Germany. We took Air Baltic, they have really cheap flights, great pilots, and lots of comfortable space on the plane. Great airline, I definitely reccommend it! We also stayed at the Winter’s hotel in Berlin. It is VERY affordable, and quite comfortable! This is our experience, ENJOY! Travel Berlin Germany: A Tour of the Attractions

Today we took a walking tour of the entire city done by New Europe. The walking tour is entirely free unless you choose to tip. It was amazing, I reccommend asking for Alex when you do the tour, she is the best! In this video you will see The Brandenburg Gate, The Berlin Wall, Gendarmenmarkt, and the Monument to the Murdered Jews of Europe among other sights. Enjoy!
