Today we took a walking tour of the entire city done by New Europe. The walking tour is entirely free unless you choose to tip. It was amazing, I reccommend asking for Alex when you do the tour, she is the best! In this video you will see The Brandenburg Gate, The Berlin Wall, Gendarmenmarkt, and the Monument to the Murdered Jews of Europe among other sights. Enjoy! All music written, produced, and recorded by my wife: Intro & Outro:So Very Mainstream (slow remix) www.mikseri.net

It would be wrong to think that the locals are always high on marijuana. They are busy planning and remodeling a few town houses into various centers of innovative business, they are busy biking around or tasting ethnic food or just relaxing watching life from the sidelines reading newspapers on a sidewalk café. Amsterdam has [...]

See the little town of Cortona in the province of Arezzo Italy. It’s origins rises up from the Etruscan times. Beautiful views on the plains of the valley of Chiana and nearby Lake of Trasimeno. It gave birth to Luca Signorelli, a famous artist with frescoes painted at the Abbey of Monteoliveto Maggiore in the province of Siena and at the Cathedral of Orvieto Italy.

From almost any direction, the town of Lucca, in Italy’s Tuscany, satisfies the eye with a variety of picturesque motifs and striking impressions, such as its wonderful works of art and splendid architecture, including its famous and imposing city wall. During the Middle Ages, this atmospheric town owed both its prosperity and fame to the manufacture of silk and a variety of other sought after clothing materials. Full of character and charm, the diverse architecture and artistic decoration of many of its houses are reminders of a wealthy and glorious past. For several centuries, the beautiful Piazza dell’Anfiteatro has been the town’s market place. Originally a Roman Amphitheatre, during the Middle Ages, its foundation walls formed part of the dwellings of the bourgeoisie. Lucca’s city wall is 12 metres high and the most famous in Tuscany. For its four-kilometre length, approximately 6 million bricks were used. Lucca is a fascinating treasure trove of the life and culture of Tuscany.

When travel dreams take people to Italy, Tuscany is often their first stop. There’s something almost seductively charming about this region and its rustic good living. Today we’ll experience two classic examples of “la dolce vita” (the sweet life): joining an early-morning truffle hunt through an oak forest, and tasting the bounty of a small-town artichoke festival.
